Is installation included?
Yes. Installation is included with every ALTA main-door, glass-door and steel-door smart lock. Bedroom and cabinet locks are designed for easy DIY installation.
Will a smart lock fit my door?
Our wooden-door locks fit doors 30–80 mm thick, glass-door locks fit 10–12 mm glass, and the SBDL 5720 is made for steel doors and gates. Send us a photo of your door on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right model.
What happens if the battery runs out?
You get low-battery alerts well in advance. Every ALTA door lock also has an emergency power supply port and a mechanical key, so you are never locked out.
What is the ALTA WORLD app?
ALTA WORLD is our app for iOS and Android. On supported models it lets you unlock remotely over Wi-Fi, manage users and receive break-in alerts.
What warranty do you give?
Door locks come with a 2-year warranty. Bedroom and cabinet locks come with a 1-year warranty. Our service team is available 24×7.
